Welcome!

The Phoenix District welcomes you!

The Phoenix District of the Sam Houston Area Council - Boy Scouts of America serves the Klein ISD area, west of Kuykendahl Road.

Most Phoenix District events and activities can be found via the menu pages on the left side of your screen - most of these are open to the public.  The center section shows what's happening in the near future, but you'll need a username to access any additional info there.  The right side shows our calendar for the next few weeks; you'll have to log in to access the full calendar.  All registered adults in the Phoenix District now have usernames (since Tuesday 10 April 2012).  If you haven't received yours, please click "Request Access" on the left.

Once you're logged in, you can use our filters to view only the info you need!

Yours in Scouting,

Scouting Success Stories in Phoenix

Posted on Jul 2 2012 - 9:32pm

Hey Scouters,

Did you know in our very own district we have:

  • a Webelos Scout who used his Readyman training he learned the week before to save his mother from choking
  • a Wolf Cub Scout that told one of his Pack Leaders, that since he joined Cub Scouts, he "doesn't lie anymore"
  • a Scout Troop that organized a bottled water drive to provide relief for firefighters that were battling last year's wildfires

Many Scouting success stories don't involve saving your Mom's life, but they are no less important!  Stories involving Leadership, Citizenship, Service . . . these successes happen everyday and are the result of Scouts and Scouters participating in the various programs of the Phoenix District in the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America!

Please share your Scout Stories with us so that we can all learn, appreciate, and enjoy . . . send your story to ScoutingSuccessStory@PhoenixBSA.org
